The curriculum offered will be an integrated system of Montessori and IBO, with an emphasis on environmental studies throughout.

Montessori:

The pre-kinder level will be solely structured as a Montessori learning environment. Ideally, the Academy will embrace the Montessori philosophy throughout all education levels. The Montessori method encourages independence and freedom with limits and responsibility. As an educational approach, the Montessori method’s focus is on the individuality of each child in respect of their needs or talents, as opposed to the needs of a class as a whole. The goal is to help the child maintain their natural joy of learning.

International Baccularate Organization (IBO):

The IBO is a recognized leader in the field of international education, encouraging students to be active learners, well-rounded individuals and engaged world citizens.

The International Baccalaureate Organization (IBO) aims to develop inquiring, knowledgeable and caring young people who help to create a better and more peaceful world through intercultural understanding and respect. The IBO works with schools, governments and international organizations to develop challenging programs of international education and rigorous assessment. These programs encourage students across the globe to become active, compassionate and life-long learners who understand that other people, with their differences, can also be right.

The International Baccalaureate Organization (IBO) offers three programs of international education for students aged 3 – 18.

  • The Primary Years Program (PYP) for pupils aged 3-12 focuses on the development of the whole child in the classroom and in the world outside.
  • The Middle Years (MYP) for pupils aged 12 – 16 provides a framework of academic challenge and life skills through embracing and transcending traditional school subjects.
  • The Diploma Program for students aged 16-18 is a demanding two-yea curriculum that meets the needs of highly motivated students, and leads to a qualification that is recognized by leading universities around the world.
