STEAM

Del Mar Academy is one of a handful of schools in Mesoamerica with a 4th through 10th grade S.T.E.A.M. (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math) program running in parallel with a full fledged Science sequence, effectively providing students with an uniquely varied science learning experience. 

Our STEAM program includes Google Office Suite apps and typing, civil engineering, coding, robotics, agroecology, digital film and photography, and green design courses, that provide a rich project based learning experience in which students design, cycle, compete and build real world products from concrete benches and bridges, to wooden dams, to bamboo furniture, to video games and movies.
